ELLE Deco International Design Award Winners - India 2013

We were so excited recently win in the bedroom category at the ELLE Deco International Design Awards (EDIDA), India 2013 for our Camel Traders print. The Ceremony was in Delhi at India Design ID, and it was such an honour to have our award presented by the legendary Rosita Missoni. What an amazing, inspiring and lovely woman!

It was really great to meet all the other ELLE Deco International Design Award winners – we love all their work. Especially No Mad 97% India who are creating fantastic  furniture and furnishings (shot & styled brilliantly). Srishti Bajaj, who made a smart, sleek and stylish roti-making set for Artd’inox.  Featuring a rolling pin that fits into the lid of a multi purpose steel and wooden container, it can be used to knead the dough (on the steel bowl side) and flipped over and used to roll out the dough (on the wooden side).  Designer of the Year Ayush Kasliwal has a strong collection of beautiful products – we particularly liked his chairs. And we’re also big fans of the handmade heritage tiles made by Bharat Floorings. As relevant today as they were when they were established in 1922, they won in the flooring category for their collaboration with Khosla Associates.
