A  contemporary brown flatweave rug, featuring an architectural check pattern.

Handwoven in a warm, neutral palette of taupe, caramel, and brown, accented with soft coral-red stripes, this contemporary flatweave rug features a grid pattern inspired by the stepped gables, windowpanes and façade details of Flemish architecture.

Handcrafted from New Zealand wool by artisans in India, it combines durability with inviting texture and a subtle, grounding warmth, making it a timeless addition to any interior.

Available to order online in five sizes and four colourways this rug can also be custom made in any size and colour.

  • Taupe Brown flatweave wool rug.
  • Handwoven in Bhadohi, India.
  • Each rug is handmade so there will be small variations in the weave, size and shape of motifs.
  • Colours are represented as accurately as possible but may vary slightly from what is seen on screen.
  • Order a sample and receive a full refund of the sample cost (excluding postage) when you return it to our UK office. Please note you will need to pay for return postage. Please get in touch on hello@safomasi.com if you have any questions!
  • We recommend using an underlay to keep it in place, especially on hard floors or where it will not be anchored by furniture. We can supply underlay for orders within the UK - please get in touch on hello@safomasi.com if you would like a quote.
  • For orders within the UK we also offer the option to treat rugs with AquaDefence Stain Protection. Please get in touch if you would like a quote.
MATERIALS & CARE
  • 100% New Zealand wool.
  • Vacuum regularly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, white cloth.
  • Professionally clean as required.
  • Rugs in direct sunlight will fade over time. To prevent this, keep in a shaded spot and close curtains or blinds when the room is not in use.
  • Rotate periodically for even wear.
