The 100th issue of ELLE Decor India was a crowdsourced special, with 100 contributors. We were very happy to be asked to create a styled composition for their Colour Story featuring a palette of moody greys, white and blue inspired by the high tide.
For our image we focused on tabletop and designed a table scape with a strong geometric and symmetrical composition.
We used Safomasi Grey Stone Symbol Fabric as the tablecloth. Arid Earth placemats with their grey crackle print on white cotton linen provided a contrast to the darker greys. Another subtle print was introduced with our Valley View print napkins.
We had fun making DIY painted napkin rings, moulded from polymer clay. Hexagonal marble cheeseboards from Nicobar arranged in the middle of the table provided a modern, modular centrepiece.
We really enjoyed putting this look together and creating a simple yet striking table setting. For more inspiration on fun ways to style your table, take a look at our Table Styling Pinterest board, or shop our range of napkins online.
